Breakfast of Champions No. 25 – branded by masters

Traditions are good, but they are even better when freshened up. The Breakfast of Champions, taking place for the 7th year in 2016, has been altered slightly in terms of its format, with a meal being organised at a different place every time. This time – at the renovated Riga Motor Museum.
For the first course Ulrika Plotniece, Creative Director at DDB Latvia, shared the newest acknowledgments that she had brought from the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival. The global marketing and advertising industry is bringing up age-old truths: a brand has to stand for something and has to be consistent in its communication with its fans. These ideas are supplemented with those that relate to the changing world: accepting the unknown and thinking about the future and the opportunities presented by it.
During the main course, Toms Ērenpreiss revealed how to connect unique experiences from the past with modern-day possibilities by creating high-quality design bicycles Ērenpreiss, and what can be of help in the respective business in order to make the brand popular and start exporting.
In conclusion, Gunārs Dortāns, Head of the Riga Motor Museum restoration workshop, handed us an amazing dessert – a story about the double of the Cadillac of the President of Latvia Kārlis Ulmanis from the moment of its discovery to its transportation to Latvia, and the restoration works that lasted for three years. The unique and restored car was made available to the public at the moment the Riga Motor Museum was opened.
After the rich breakfast, those present had the opportunity to view more than a 100 exhibits of Riga Motor Museum, most of which are still driveable according to the Head Restorer.
