GOLDEN HAMMER CHALLENGE: THE BIG GAME
It is always challenging to take part in international festivals for various sectors, but it is no less exciting to take part in organising them. This time we are looking at the Golden Hammer festival campaign that has been created by the DDB Latvia team. This makes it possible to play around with the creative ambitions of advertising folks.
Nearly every country has a local festival where good ideas can lead to prizes. In order to become convinced about the true strength of the idea, however, strengths must be compared with those of serious competitors who can only be found at the international level.
This year the international Golden Hammer festival will take place on June 11 in Jūrmala. Submissions for the festival will be accepted until April 30. This will be the 16th Golden Hammer festival, and the event has become the most important festival of its kind in the region, bringing together advertising professionals not just from the Baltic States and Scandinavia, but also from many other countries in Europe and the rest of the world.
