Let’s Help Premature Babies!

Some 1,000 premature babies are born in Latvia each year, and they need special care during their first years. The Paediatric Clinical University Hospital is raising funds for the “Safe Shelter” care programme that will help such babies to be healthy.

More than EUR 60,000 will be needed to implement the programme, so we ask everyone to help by making a donation by ringing 9000-6988 or by visiting the fund's homepage. We are delighted that the DDB team could also help out. With financial support from Maxima Latvija, we organised a charitable campaign, including a TV ad that we produced together with the Tritone studio. 

“Safe Shelter” will care for premature children until the age of two, tracking their development, diagnosing problems in a timely way and offering help that is needed. The programme will also offer psychological help to families. Find out more about “Safe Shelter” here.
