Strategist with European experience joins DDB Latvia team

We believe that growth is based on decisions that are correct in strategic terms, and we are therefore delighted to announce that one of those decisions has been taken by DDB Consulting and by our new strategist, Anna Celmiņa, who has gained experience at an advertising agency in London.
When we listen to Anna’s life story, it seems that we should produce a movie about her adventures, not those of Indiana Jones. After eight years working for offices at various European university libraries and companies, Anna has come back to Latvia. She is prepared to make use of what she has read in books and tested in life as a strategist at the Story Worldwide advertising agency in London, as well as at the Marketing Department of the British Medical Association, where Anna managed to convince the conservative association that without creative rebranding, it would come to the end of its existence.
Anna earned a bachelor’s degree in European studies at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, another bachelor’s degree in media anthropology at the University of Stockholm in Sweden, and a master’s degree in creative industries from Kings College in London. Anna describes herself as a “PhD with a personality,” always adding that “I am not a numbers nerd.”
During these eight years of work and studies, Anna has spent a lot of time in the air, flying from point A to point B. She regularly visited Rīga to serve as a DJ as part of the “Women with Emotions” organisation at the Pērle discotheque and the Palladium Theatre, as well as to host a show on Radio Naba.
Welcome to the DDB Consulting team, Anna!
