Some of Latvia’s working families cannot make monthly ends meet due to the crisis. Anyone asking for help tries to be invisible, while helping is easy. The phrase Begging is difficult, helping is easy and the invisible family have become campaign symbols. The message, first displayed on the door of the Latvian National Opera, was voluntarily and free of charge picked up by mainstream media, which resulted in LVL 13,230 being raised - the equivalent of 2,205 food packages for ‘invisible’ people.
