A bright start for Aļona Ostapenko with Live Riga

The latest clip from the Live Riga short film series "Insider's guide to Riga" has continued to run through the world for a few weeks already, having the tennis star Aļona Ostapenko in the main role. Tennis fans as well as the wider audience are fascinated - enthusiastic signals come from New Zealand, Portugal, Japan, and Serbia, and these are just a few examples. In total half a million people have watched the clip in just a few weeks.

The fantastic story of Aļona, based on real events, but still corresponding with the serial-style, joins eight already well-known heroes of Riga, whose stories have stolen the show in Cannes - being awarded with Golden Dolphins. The story of the inhabitant of Riga also makes it possible to look at Riga from a new perspective - and how good many thousands of tennis balls look in the features of the city!
