DDB Latvia - most awarded agency at the ADwards for the second consecutive year
The DDB Latvia team’s harvest of awards this year at the ADwards 2013 Creative Excellence Festival is quite impressive -- 3 gold awards, 3 silver awards and 3 finalist’s diplomas.
At the Oscar ceremony, the best film and the best director are the most significant categories. At advertising festivals – it’s the integrated campaigns. We are most proud of those! In total, of the four campaigns which received awards, three were created within the walls of DDB Latvia. The SSE Rīga Alumni Donation Platform and the OKarte Library or Take a chance received the gold award, but the silver award was presented to the ziedot.lv campaign, Love CAN be bought.
A well deserved gold went to the OKarte campaign’s teaser part - the 4 second video, which raised quite an uproar in the media and reached 80,000 views on youtube over a few days. The online game from this same campaign created by DDB Latvia and CUBE, where everyone had an opportunity to try out the slide down the library’s roof, received silver. Finally, the sixth silver award went to ziedot.lv’s It’s hard to ask in the Print Art and Design sub-category, Environmental Advertisement.
The airBaltic Christmas Greeting and two of DDB Latvia own jobs – our Christmas greeting, Riders of the Apocalypse and the Ledlauzis poster for the self-made pop-up bar received finalist diplomas.
The Grand Prix award was presented to the PIKA creative partnership for the Velofenders interactive campaign. The list of all winners can be found here. This year a record number of submissions – 300, were received for the ADwards 2013 Creative Excellence Festival. There were 35 prizes awarded in total. Ten outstanding creative minds, including DDB Latvia Creative Director Una Rozenbauma, worked on the international jury. The jury was headed by Brazilian Sergio Mugnaini, Creative Director of the Loducca Advertising Agency.
We are most satisfied with the work we did last year, which meant that for the second consecutive year our agency received the most awards at the ADwards Creative Excellence Festival. Picture gallery from ADwards can be viewed here.
