EXPERIENCED VAIRIS STRAZDS RETURNS, LIENE BĒRZIŅA JOINS DDB CREATIVE TEAM

Repetition is the father of knowledge, and so we are delighted that Vairis has returned to the DDB team after an interruption of a year and a few months. While gone, Vairis relaxed, read several books, travelled throughout Europe, and worked very hard at TBWA/Latvija, where he worked with McDonald’s, If, Lattelecom, Lāčplēsis Beer, Herkuless and other brands. Vairis is one of the most experienced creative directors in Latvia. During his first seven years at DDB Latvia, he directed outstanding ads for LMT, Maxima, Statoil, Hanzas Maiznīca, Dobeles Dzirnavnieks, Volkswagen and other brands. Vairis was also involved in brand changing campaigns for LMT and Swedbank. Welcome back, Vairis!
Liene Bērziņa is a talented author of texts, a beautiful young woman and an interesting individual. These are the first three ideas than come to mind when talking about her, and all of them hit the bull’s eye. Liene has years of experience at agencies and as a freelancer in writing texts and generating ideas for Tele2, Zelta Zivtiņa, Cūkmens and other brands. She also is a member of the faculty at the Department of Communications Studies at the University of Latvia. She teaches advertising to future marketing and communications specialists.
When it comes to beauty, we have to mention Liene’s dresses. She says that she “wears one and keeps two other ones in mind.” You may find it hard to understand that. That’s true for us, as well, but she always looks great. In terms of personality, Liene’s excitement about advertising has not cancelled her positivism and love of life. “I really do love life, and it loves me,” she says. “I can fully guarantee that we will be together until death does us part.” We welcome Liene at the DDB Latvia team and can guarantee that future work will be more positive, more charming and more professional!
