First Television SmartGame Produced

How to encourage and inspire people throughout Latvia to understand the wonderful advantages of smartphones and to make use of them every day? We joined LMT in the old belief that it is better to show something once than to talk about it 100 times. Instead of teaching people, we wish to entertain them with an exciting story. This is known as content marketing, and it has now come to Latvia via the television broadcast “Ciemos”.

The experienced VFS Films company was involved with coming up with the new adventure game “Ciemos”. The idea is elementary – provide smart equipment to ordinary people who speak and do things the same way as we do, then looking to see what happens. Players are divided in five teams, each from a different region of Latvia. Teams include representatives of three generations, and that is specifically that which makes the competition interesting. Where the smartness of younger people and smart equipment does not help, the wisdom of older generations can come to the rescue, and vice versa.

Along with the TV game, there is also a smartphone knowledge village that was set up together with DDB Hub. People can learn new things about their phones so that they can make 100% use of the potential of the equipment. Very soon, moreover, an exciting interactive version of the “Ciemos” game will be available on the Draugiem.lv portal.

Judging from comments on social networks, the broadcast won the hearts of many viewers. The sincere host of the game, Kozmens, has become a local star. The most important thing, however, is that smartphones (popularly known as ‘greasy screens’) are becoming more and more common as an everyday component in the lives of people all over Latvia.
