If there are a lot of us, then Latvia will grow

Our population numbers are shrinking day by day, but we want Latvia to grow. We want families to have children, as opposed to waiting around for a more favourable demographic policy. That is the basis for our new initiative, For a Growing Latvia, because we are convinced that demographics are based on people, not numbers.

With the help of Maxima, this movement will bring together social organisations, government institutions and businesspeople to create an orderly and friendly environment for families so that parents can feel save about giving birth to children without worrying about poverty.

The homepage augosai.lv was created by our digital team, DDB Hub. There you will find useful information about support for families with children from companies, the government, professional organisations and Maxima. Future parents and those who are just thinking about having their first baby will also find useful links here. 

To popularise the For a Growing Latvia campaign, we have created TV and outdoor advertising to encourage people to think about families with children who supplement our life plans, as opposed to messing the up.  If you have not seen them, they can be found here.
