Latest trends and Most Loved brands identified

Latvia’s Most Loved brands 2013 were duly recognised at an awards ceremony held in mid-September. This is the most comprehensive brand study in the Baltics, which identifies the general public’s best loved brands and offers insights into the latest trends.
This year, people’s lifestyles are characterised by two trends. Firstly, we are becoming more egotistical and increasingly self-reliant. Secondly, we increasingly appreciate and use technologies. Thus, the most successful brands in the chart are brands that have addressed consumers eye to eye as equals, and those that have created interesting content.
The Latvia’s Most Loved brands chart awards ceremony was honoured by the presence of Tribal DDB Amsterdam Executive Creative Director Mark Chalmers with the story of "Loving digital", revealing how brands use the opportunities created by the digital world. In turn, DDB Latvia Strategic Director Edgars Pētersons outlined four lessons from this year’s study, which in future could help brands to develop their relations with their consumers. The Most Loved brands chart is compiled by DDB Latvia in collaboration with the research company GfK Custom Research Baltic and Kapitāls magazine.
