Strategist with a precise stroke – Reinholds Pīrāgs

DDB Consulting has been joined by Reinholds Pīrāgs – brand strategist who won the gold medal in this year’s Latvian Olympics as the best golfer. Before now we have not known anyone who has shown their love for precision in such an exact manner.

We could tell you about Reinholds’s life before DDB Consulting in the same manner as we would tell you about playing golf. He takes the proper position, swings, strikes… And holes it.

He graduated from SSE Riga or the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga with honours, Reinholds received the prestigious Baltic-American Freedom Foundation scholarship and spent a year in USA in order to put his knowledge into practice. After having returned to Latvia, he decided to apply his mind to programming and studied in the Faculty of Computing of University of Latvia and after two years he graduated with a master’s diploma in his hands. Having proven himself in programming, project management and business consulting, Reinholds has decided to aim at new holes.

And yet again – the position, swing, strike. The ball hits the DDB Consulting door persistently. Upon meeting with him, Reinholds “captured” us with the idea that has been expressed by the creative mind of IBM Adam Key: “The best way to predict the future is to build it.” Possibly, it characterises Reinholds the best. But golf… That’s just for precise aiming.
