18+ or the eternal youth formula
Although we are only celebrating our 18th birthday, it feels like our 81st after all these dynamic and tremendous years. On the other hand, the apparently endless energy of the DDB team to romp, experiment, dig, fail, seek, find and offer new ideas is a clear sign of blossoming youth.
Our confidence has not changed during this time – it has only grown stronger. We still believe that the power of an idea can not only help big and small companies to become more cherished, valuable and profitable, but can also make the world at least a little bit better. This is why we are delighted to know that we have helped both the young and the talented, industry professionals, raised the self-confidence of our nation, united families and helped those in trouble, cheered people up with a little bit of humour in the early mornings and late evenings, promoted a healthy lifestyle, inspired local entrepreneurs to reach outside the borders of Latvia and the Baltics and taken part in many other acclaimed activities.
The harder we work, the better we understand the role of trust and loyalty in the process of idea implementation. So we give special thanks to all our partners who have already been with us for five, ten, and yes – even seventeen years! It takes time to become a good and experienced team that dares to implement bold and experimental projects.
And even though the awards are not our main target, it is also great to be the most awarded advertising agency in the competitions of efficiency and creativeness for several years in a row at home and on the international level. We have accomplished a lot and we are planning to do more. So we are facing new challenges and generating new ideas that will never dry out, unlike oil or other natural resources; at least that is what we like to believe.
It seems that it is also the source of the eternal youth formula – the emphasising of problems, looking for creative means of expression and making life better is, was and always will be an important and exciting activity. However the greatest contribution to this formula is our team of devoted, talented and determined people and all our cooperation partners who have worked with us for 18 years in the field that we so dearly love.
