RĪGAS Laiks Festival – for everyone who thinks
Do you know Rīgas Laiks festival face? By the way, he comes from DDB Latvia. Really! He’s not really a colleague, but rather a close relative of each of us. Somebody who’s not afraid to remind us that despite such failings as a very thin head of hair and lack of a tail, people really do have one important advantage – the ability to think! The only question is how often do we use it?
Therefore, our friends and kindred spirits from the magazine Rīgas Laiks, in celebration of the publication’s 20th birthday, have organised a wonderful festival whose ideological objective, according its publisher Arnis Rītups, is to make Riga a place where people think.
An eclectic range of people whom Rīgas Laiks considers to be interesting have been invited to attend the event. The programme includes exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, films and encounters with Rīgas Laiks authors and publishers, as well as intellectual discussions. In other words, it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet genuinely unusual personalities in Riga.
The forthcoming festival, whose visual identity and video production also featured the involvement of the DDB Latvia creative team, has already attracted extensive media interest.
